Despite the temporary nature of a fake tattoo, it may naturally happen that you want to remove it earlier. For example, you might have to go back to work where tattoos are not allowed. Or you only wanted the fake tattoo on your body for one special evening.

How do you remove a fake tattoo?

There are several ways to remove a fake tattoo.

Please note that the methods below can irritate or dry out the skin. Therefore, always test a small amount of the product on a small area of skin before using it on the entire tattoo. If your skin becomes red or irritated after using any of these products, stop using it and wash the skin thoroughly with water.

Use tattoo remover

This is a product designed to remove tattoos and can also be used to remove fake tattoos. Follow the instructions on the product to remove the tattoo.

Use baby oil

Baby oil can help remove the tattoo by dissolving the ink. Apply the baby oil to the tattoo and gently rub until the tattoo disappears.

Use a warm washcloth

Soak a washcloth in warm water and press it on the tattoo until the washcloth is no longer warm. Repeat this a few times until the tattoo disappears.
